This year, as part of our 20th Anniversary Celebration, the IPBA will open the doors of the annual convention to the public for a special, FREE Presentation, “Collecting Perfume Bottles, 101”. Although educational seminars and presentations are generally for members only, this year on Saturday, May 3rd (3pm to 4pm) IPBA will reach out to engage and educate non-members too.

Experience has shown us that new perfume bottle collectors or those with an emerging interest are anxious for good information but are sometimes a little shy about asking questions. The things they really want to know are exactly what will be covered in ‘Collecting Perfume Bottles, 101'
The presentation will cover: How to get started collecting; What to look for; Where to hunt for perfume bottles; and How to learn more about this
fascinating hobby!
Participants will experience a visual treat of many beautiful, unique and affordable perfume bottles; and they’ll see a few quirky and humorous bottles too. Also planned are Door Prizes, Refreshments and a Free Starter Packet for all attendees.
To register for this FREE program call: Lois: 314-628-9887.
The public is also invited to attend a Perfume Bottle Auction, by Monsen & Baer, Inc. on Friday, May 2nd beginning at 5 p.m. with free entry, and a Perfume Bottle Show & Sale on Saturday, May 3rd from 2:30 – 6 p.m., and on Sunday, May 4th from 10 a.m. – noon. (There is a $5.00 admission fee for the Show & Sale).
Some of the world’s top perfume bottle dealers and experts attend the IPBA annual Convention and set up showcases of their inventory in the Exhibit Hall for the Perfume Bottle Show & Sale. It is well known among collectors that many of these sellers set aside their very best and rarest perfume bottles and related accessories specifically for the IPBA Convention.
Education and camaraderie are two key elements of the annual convention, bringing members back year after year. Besides the great educational programming, one of the things they look forward to most of all
is renewing old friendships and meeting new collectors.

The International Perfume Bottle Association is a not-for-profit organization and is the largest worldwide association of individuals collecting and dealing in perfume bottles.
