The 2009 Convention will be held at the Hotel Albuquerque in Old Town Albuquerque New Mexico from Thursday April 30th to Sunday May 3rd

Thinking of coming to your first Convention?
If this is your first convention, the orientation session (5pm, Thursday 1st May) is essential. The IPBA Board will be present to greet you and answer any questions you may have, explain member benefits and help you understand the convention schedule. You
will also have time to mingle with other first time attendees and meet your friendly Mentor who will help guide you throughout the convention and introduce you to other collectors who share your interests.
Barbara Miller is coordinating the first time attendees and the Mentors.

In St Louis we opened the doors of the annual convention to the public for a special free presentation, “Collecting Perfume Bottles, 101”.  Although educational seminars and presentations are generally for members only, this meeting was run to engage and educate non-members too. Non-members were also able to attend an internationally recognized auction and see the Perfume Bottle Show and Sale.
Volunteers for the many important roles during the Convention are always very welcome - if you would like to volunteer there is space on the Registration form for you to choose a job. Opportunities are available for:

  • Help Set-Up Collector's Market
  • Report on Convention Activities
  • Photograph Conventioneers
  • Bring Items for "Exhibition Only" Showcase
  • Be a Dealer in the Exhibit Hall
