Seventh UK Chapter Convention
Saturday 10 & Sunday 11 November 2007 Holiday Inn, Gloucester/Cheltenham
The 2007 UK Convention sees a change of venue from London to the West Country. Gloucester is about 100 miles west of London and is an ideal centre for touring (Bath, the Cotswold hills, South Wales).
Saturday will be for presentations and club activities for members and Sunday will be an all-day sale with a variety of dealers offering thousands of bottles.

The Fall Flocking of Flamingos
Sunday 11 November 2007 from 10am- 3pm. Hampton Inn at Cypress Creek in Ft. Lauderdale.
Everyone is invited, so make plans to join us for The Fall Flocking of Flamingos. Opportunities abound to learn about, look at, and buy/sell those fabulous perfume bottles we love to collect. Plus, there are friendships to make and renew.

Our theme for the special Show and Tell session is toys. Of course, feel free to bring other perfume bottles that you are proud of and want to share. We’ll even have several talks on specific areas of perfume bottle collecting.

For your information, on Sunday morning, the train leaves the downtown Chicago (Madison & Canal) train station at 10:30 A.M. and arrives at the Barrington Station at 11:32 am. There is a return train at 3:18 pm. arriving back in Chicago at 4:23 pm.

Please RSVP as soon as you can, but no later than Monday, September 10th.

Paul Poiret Exhibition

At the request of the Curators Christie Mayer-Lefkowith has loaned 40 pieces from her collection to be part of this exhibition. In addition, as a supplement to the exhibition catalogue, Christie has prepared a new book "Paul Poiret and his Rosine Perfumes" which was introduced on Monday, May 7th at the press preview of the Exhibition.

Christie's book will be on sale for $65, plus mailing costs and NY State Sales Tax at the exhibition, at The Bookstore of the Metropolitan Museum, and by her company, Christie Mayer, Inc.

The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising will debut The Annette Green Perfume Museum and an exhibition called “Fashion Makes Scents”, saluting the creators of Fragrance & Fashion now and then.

The Annette Green Perfume Museum is America’s first and only fragrance Museum, which recently moved from New York City to Los Angeles when it was donated to the FIDM Museum & Galleries located in Downtown Los Angeles.

The dual events will take place from Tuesday, October 17- Saturday, December 2, 2006. The Annette Green Perfume Museum will remain open year round for public viewing.

Gallery Hours: 
10-4 p.m. daily, including Saturday.  Closed Sundays & Mondays.
