Perfume Bottle Quarterly - Summer 2005

About the Cover:
The photo on this issue shows a stunning creation by Baccarat for "Caballero", a hennessy perfume which was one of the items featured in the keynote address by Christie Mayer Lefkowith at the 2005 Convention.

The black enameled flacon is shaped like a mandolin with a gilded design showing a cabellero (a knight or gentleman) serenading a lady on her balcony, while playing his mandolin. It was unexpected for such a luxurious crystal flacon to have been produced in 1932, during the depths of the Great Depression
