The
Florida Chapter Flamingos
The Flamingos are Flying South to Sun, Fun, Friends and Perfume Bottles!
November 9th, 2008 is the date when the flock will be together again -- this time at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites in Sunrise, Florida. (Sunrise is just west of Ft. Lauderdale, off University and Oakland.) 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

The Gathering will have a show and tell session, presentations, and lots of way to talk about and admire the many varieties of beautiful perfume bottles. The Gathering is open to all IPBA members and those interested in joining the IPBA. There shall be a $15.00 fee to cover lunch and mailings.

Peachtree Chapter in Atlanta,
Georgia meets every other month. Meetings are really fun, informal,
Southern "Sunday afternoon socials," and the group is delighted
to host out-of-town IPBA members who may be visiting in the area,
as well as prospective IPBA members.

 The next meeting/Luncheon of the Chicago Skyliners Chapter of the IPBA will take place at the beautiful CARLETON OF OAK PARK HOTEL in the Columbian Room, 1110 PHEASANT STREET, OAK PARK, ILLINOIS 60302.
Tentative Agenda Includes: Welcome & Introductions Including New IPBA Members, 2008 Convention Report, Chapter Basket Raffle Results, Preview of Convention 2009 in Albuquerque, Bottle Show and Tell (Bring your favorite, unusual, or unknown bottle)and much much more.
The meeting is open to all IPBA members and those interested in joining the IPBA. There shall be a $15.00 fee to cover chapter

The UK
Chapter is our first non-US Chapter. They have hosted
six annual conventions in the London area and one, last year in the West country at Gloucester. In April 2008 they also held a bottle sale.

Holiday Inn, Cheltenham Gloucester |
 Following the success of the 2007 UK Convention at the new location in the West
Country the next convention will be held at the same venue. Gloucester is about 100 miles west of London and is connected by motorways and fast  rail connections. The hotel is an
ideal base for touring the area: Bath, the Cotswold hills, South Wales are among the many attractions.
Saturday will be for presentations and club activities for members
and Sunday will be an all-day sale with a variety of dealers offering
thousands of bottles.
